We stress and teach safety. Prior to “making way”, we conduct safety drills. Boats are equipped with safety equipment which exceeds Coast Guard requirements. We pinch down the barbs on our hooks for your additional safety, and are beneficial to the survival of released fish. |
We avoid conditions that could bring on seasickness. At first signs of illness, we locate to an area that we can anchor, and continue fishing in comfort. |
Sunscreen of SPF 40 or greater should be applied BEFORE you leave home. Proper clothes for the elements will depend on the season and conditions. Remember, it’s always 15 degrees cooler on the water. Dress warm…no bare feet, or dark soled shoes that will scuff the boats deck. Our boat is also equipped with a rest room for your comfort. |
We provide all rods and reels, bait and tackle. We choose the proper rod and reel related to the age, size and experience of the child or adult. Due to space, we limit the amount of personal articles allowed on the boat. |
Trips are designed around four hours because keeping kids out too long is a mistake. We provide bottle water ,but we recommend you bring along one cooler full of your favorite treats. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Most likely, but no guide can guarantee success. We monitor and network where and what the fish are biting on. We will suggest the best time to plan your trip related to tide and fish activity in the ocean or the bay. |
We practice “Catch and Release”, and pinch down the barbs on the hooks for yourself and the safe release of the fish. We are sensitive to childrens’ concerns of hurting the fish, and act in a responsible sportsman like manner. Understanding that fish are a viable food source, we will clean and package your catch to complete your family experience with a seafood dinner. |
